New Delhi,
Correspondent,"Mayank Shah, group
product manager at Parle
Products, puts all the folklore to rest and reveals: BSP leader
and ex Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to be the new "Parle-G" girl
replacing Mrs.Neeru Deshpandey from Nagpur
after more than 70yrs".
He further added, "Being the no.1
glucose biscuit manufacturing company in the indian market from
decades, the company do not wish to loose this position just because
of the new initiative launched by the government".When asked why the company choose ex UP Chief Minister rather than any
other person he said ,"The only lady with boy-cut hair
style who comes in mind is none other than this ex-UP CM and also
BSP being one of the major party in U.P, believes her photo on the biscuit
packet will not only increase the sale of the biscuit but will also advertise
her for the upcoming UP elections."
This decision has been made to compete with the growing competition in the market due to the introduction of new Glucose Biscuit manufacturing companies that established under the "Make In India" scheme in the past few months.
Though BSP leader Mayawati is yet to make any statement regarding this but our sources has confirmed that she is very much excited and has instructed her followers to keep a packet of Parle-G compulsorily during the Door to Door ad campaign for the election to show it as her achievement. The new Parle-G packet will be available in the market from 2016.
