Patanjali to provide Ayurvedic Bats to Indian Cricket Team

MUMBAI, Worried over the poor and inconsistent performance of team India, BCCI today have announced to make "PATANJALI Ayurveda Limited", the official sponsor of the cricket bats for the Indian team for the ongoing India's tour to Australia.

Patanjali Ayurveda Limited, located and headquartered at Haridwar, has been founded by the yoga guru, Baba Ram Dev and is perhaps the fastest growing fast moving consumer company with revenue in excess of  ₹2500 crore for 2014-15. 


BCCI spokesperson said at the conference that the board was very much worried about the team's form and having tried all known scientific methods which all failed, they approached Baba Ramdev for the Ayurvedic solution following which the decision was made.

Baba Ramdev will mainly provide Ayurvedic natural cricket Bats made at their headquarter and have ensured 100% organic and successful performance at the ongoing tour. The deal is said to have been done at a price of about ₹1 crore per match plus ayurvedic doctors from Patanjali as the team's physio. After the official announcement, Baba Ramdev 
tweeted, " I am very much happy with the announce and this endeavor will surely lead to a great success in the coming future". 

Though the announce has been made only for the ongoing series, but our sources have said that if successful, BCCI is in full mood
of implementing it till the 2019 world to be held in England and Wales.
