Rajeev Chowk Metro Station to host 2021 Kumbh Festival


NEW DELHI, DMRC has bagged yet another achievement in their name. Inspired with the over crowding, especially during peak hours, organizers have decided to host next  "Kumbh Festival" at Rajeev Chowk Metro Station.

Kumbh Festival is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus bath in a sacred river. Special pools will thus be installed for this purpose with holy water of river Ganga.  

Bathing in these rivers is considered to cleanse a person of all sins.  

Rajeev Chowk Kumbh Festival has been scheduled to held in the year 2021. In order to break the previous attendance record of  120 million,  DMRC will continue to run as per its schedule during the Kumbh Festival. 

DMRC Chief, Mangu Singh announced this in press conference. He also said that he is very delighted with this announcement and will make all the necessary arrangements to handle the crowd.
